A biarylurea derivative that acts as a selective positive allosteric modulator selective for alpha7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (alpha7 nAChR) without substantial activity for alpha4beta2, alpha3beta3 and alpha1-containing receptors. Exhibits cognitive enhancing effects in vivo.
