A blood brain barrier permeable oxadiazole compound that acts as a potent, reversible and ATP-competitive inhibitor of GSK-3b activity (IC50=17.1nM) with excellent selectivity over Cdk2 (22% inhibition at 10uM). Shown to elevate liver glycogen levels by ~3.5- and ~4.3-fold in C57BL/6N mice when dosed at 5 and 15mg/kg (i.p.) amounts.
