Platelet derived growth factor (PDGF) is a potent mitogen, acting on cell types such as fibroblasts and smooth muscle cells.PDGF is a dimeric protein being composed of A and B chains. The dimer may be formed from AA, BB or AB chain combinations.

Recommended Dilution:Functional Assays: 0.2-10ng/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute with 10ul of 10mM acetic acid. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
