MCP-1 is an ~13.8kD peptide corresponding to full-length mature mouse monocyte chemotactic protein 1. MCP-1, otherwise known as CCL2 or JE, is a secreted chemokine involved in the recruitment of monocytes to sites of injury or inflammation (Lu, B. et al., 1998).

Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
