Interleukin-6 is a potent lymphoid cell growth factor, acting on B cells, T cells and hybridoma cells. This preparation has an ED50 of 0.1ng/ml when assayed by proliferation of murine 7TD1 cells.

Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
