ENA Extract is a pool of rabbit and/or bovine tissue extracts that will form precipitins with autoantibodies that bind Sm, Ro/SS-A, La/SS-B, nRNP, Scl-70, and Jo-1 when tested by immunodiffusion.
Source:Pool of rabbit and/or bovine origin tissue extracts. Bovine and rabbit tissues are extracted in phosphate buffer.
Applications:Suitable for use in immunodiffusion. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
