• CXCL8 (IL-8) is a proinflammatory CXC chemokine that can signal through the CXCR1 and CXCR2 receptors. It is secreted by monocytes and endothelial cells. CXCL8 (IL-8) chemoattracts and activates neutrophils. Recombinant human CXCL8 (IL-8) (endothelial-derived) is an 8.9kD protein containing 77aa.

• Biological Activity:Determined by its ability to chemoattract human peripheral blood neutrophils using a concentration range of 25-150ng/ml.
