Recombinant HIV-1clade E (Thai) gag p24 is a cytosolic protein produced in the Baculovirus Expression System. Quantitative determination of the protein was based on a sandwich capture ELISA using a qualified p24 preparation as a reference. The capture ELISA is sensitive to 1pg of p24; 1ng/ml of p24 shows an O.D. of 1.0 at 450nm under standard ELISA conditions.
Specificity:This protein binds to murine monoclonal antibodies of defined epitope specificity and to rabbit and human serum polyclonal antibodies in ELISA and Western Blot.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and In-Vitro HIV-1 Diagnostics. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 10-100ng proteinWestern Blot: 10-100ng proteinOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Titer:HIV-1 converted human serum Polyclonal antibodies yeild titers of up to 1:100,000 at 10-100ng of immobilized protein under standard ELISA conditions.
Storage and Stability:Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
