Ubiquitously-expressed transcript, also known as UXT, belongs to the UXT family. This protein functions as a cofactor that modulates androgen receptor-dependent transcription, and also plays a critical role in tumor necrosis factor-induced apoptosis. Expression of this gene may play a role in tumorigenesis.
Source:Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-157 from human UXT at N-terminal, fused to His-tag expressed in E.coli.
