Noradrenaline transporter or epinephrine transporter (NET or NTT1 or NAT1 or SLC6A2) gene (chromosome 16) encodes a protein of 617aa (mouse 617aa, ~94% identity), with 12-13 transmembrane domains, and cytoplasmic N and C-termini. NET blocking peptide can be used as antagonist of D2 receptor types. it may also be used as an immunogen in the production of antibodies to D2 type dopamine receptors.
Source:Synthetic peptide corresponding to 22aa from rat NET.
