Tubulin, beta 3 class III, also known as TUBB3, is the major constituent of microtubules. It binds two moles of GTP, one at an exchangeable site on the beta chain and one at a non-exchangeable site on the alpha- chain. TUBB3 plays a critical role in proper axon guidance and mantainance.
Source:Recombinant protein corresponding to human TUBB3, fused to His-tag at N-terminal expressed in E.coli.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
