The helix-loop-helix (HLH) proteins are a family of putative transcription factors, some of which have been shown to play an important role in growth and development of a wide variety of tissues and species. NHLH1 may serve as DNA-binding protein and may be involved in the control of cell-type determination, possibly within the developing nervous system.
Source:Recombinant protein corresponding to human NHLH1, fused to His-tag at N-terminal expressed in E.coli.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
