Enhances acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC) gene expression. Increases insulin sensitivity. Antihypertensive. Ca2+ influx inhibitor. Anticancer compound. Chemopreventive. Anti-inflammatory. IKKbeta, NF-kappaB and MAPK signaling inhibitor. Induces TNF-alpha, IL-1beta and nitric oxide release. Immunomodulator.
