特徴

• FGF-21 (Fibroblast growth factor 21) stimulates glucose uptake in differentiated adipocytes via the induction of glucose transporter SLC2A1/GLUT1 expression (but not SLC2A4/GLUT4 expression). Activity requires the presence of betaKlotho.
• Sequence:Mouse FGF-21 (aa1-210) is fused at the C-terminus to the Fc portion of human IgG, expressed in HEK 293 cells.
• Molecular Weight:~50kD (SDS-PAGE)
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
