Alkaline Phosphatase Avidin D is made by conjugating high specific activity alkaline phosphatase from calf intestine to affinity-purified Avidin D. Alkaline phosphatase : Avidin D molar ratios are optimal and our coupling procedure allows maximum retention of enzyme activity. Alkaline Phosphatase Avidin D is recommended for use in solid-phase assays.
Applications:Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Ratio of enzyme to Avidin D (molar):1
Specific Activity:880 units/mg conjugate
Unit Definition:One unit is 1umole p-nitrophenylphosphate hydrolyzed/min. at 37 °C, pH 9.8.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
