• Alk 5 Inhibitor II is a selective ATP competitive inhibitor of transforming growth factor-β (TGFβ). A potential drug for the treatment of fibrosis and cancer.. Inhibits ALK5 autophosphorylation (IC₅₀=4nM). Can replace one of the four reprogramming factors Sox-2. RepSox has been successfully used in the direct reprogramming of mouse fibroblasts through induction of Nanog transcription.
