Biotin-labeled Nucleotides are used for non-fluorescent labeling of nucleic acids in purification and detection applications.
Applications:Suitable for use in SNP Analsis, In situ hybridization detection, Excision repair patches, Southern Blot and DNA-labeling. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Spectroscopic Properties:lambda max 240/289nm; epsilon 10.7/7.1 L mmol-1 cm-1 (Tris-HCl, pH 7.5)
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
