SHC1 (SHC-transforming protein 1) belongs to the SH2 domain family. SHC1 has been found to be important in the regulation of apoptosis and drug resistance in mammalian cells. It is a signaling adapter that couples activated growth factor receptors to signaling pathway. SHC1 expressed in neural stem cells but absent in mature neurons. Purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
Source:Recombinant corresponding to aa1-474 of human SHC1, fused to His-tag at N-terminal, expressed in E.coli.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
