CINP, also known as Cyclin-dependent kinase 2-interacting protein, belongs to the CINP family. This protein interacts with the components of the replication complex and 2 kinases, CDK2 and CDC7, thereby providing a functional and physical link between CDK2 and CDC7 during firing of the origins of replication. Purified by using conventional chromatography.
Source:Recombinant corresponding to aa1-212 of human CINP, fused to His-tag at N-terminal, expressed in E.coli.
Molecular Weight:~26.4kD (232aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF (Molecular weight on SDS-PAGE will appear higher)
Enzyme Activity:Not determined. This product is recommended for use in applications that do not require a catalytically active form of the protein.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
