The Treponema pallidum (Syphilis) ELISA Kit, BioAssay™ is an in vitro enzyme immunoassay for the detection of Anti-TP antibodies in human serum or plasma. It is for diagnosis of early infection and epidemic survey.
Assay Principle:This kit uses enzyme immunoassay method to detect anti-TP antibodies in serum or plasma. The recombinant TP antigen TP47 and TP is coated on the multi-wells plate. When serum sample and another recombinant TP antigen labeled with HRP (conjugated) are added to the coated wells, and if Anti-TP antibody is present in the sample, a complex of TPAg-Anti-TP-TPAg labeled with HRP will form. TMB is substrate for HRP. The enzyme reaction with substrate TMB produces a color change, and the intensity of the absorbance at 450 nm indicates the presence or absence of Anti-TP antibodies in the sample. The test is specific, sensitive, reproducible and easy to operate. It is for blood screen of TP infection.
Storage and Stability:Store all components at 4°C. Stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
