The Anti-Hepatitis B Virus E Antigen (HBeAg) ELISA Kit is a qualitative in vitro enzyme immunoassay for the detection of anti-HBe in human serum or plasma.
Principle of the Assay:The purified Anti-HBe is coated on the solid phase of multi-wells. Serum sample, recombinant HBeAg and horseradish peroxidase labeled with Anti-HBe (conjugated) are added to coated wells, and form a competitive combination. After incubation, if Anti-HBe content is high in the sample, a complex of HBeAg-Anti-HBe-Anti-HBe labeled with HRP will form. The wells are washed to remove the complex, and incubated with substrate (TMB), subsequently producing no color change or little color change. If Anti-HBe is not present in the sample, there will be significant color change. The test is sensitive, reproducible and easy to operate.
Interpretation of Results:Cut-off Value (COV) Calculation:COV = average OD450 of negative controls X 0.5
Positive: OD450 of sample
Performance Characteristics:Sensitivity: 4NCU/ml (per Biological Reference Reagents of Chinese Clinical Test Center), OD ≤0.600Specificity: The average OD of 20 normal negative smples is ≥2.00Precision: %CV ≤20% (n=10)
Storage and Stability:Store all kit components at 4°C. Kit is stable for 6 months.
