A healthy non-immunized chicken population was used to collect serum. This product was prepared from normal serum by a multi-step process which includes delipidation, selective precipitation and tandem molecular sieve chromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipition arc against anti-chicken Serum and anti-chicken IgM (mu chain specific). No reaction was observed against anti-chicken IgGF(c). Some light chain cross reactivity will occur with anti-chicken IgG).
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA (coating), or as a non-immune control for ELISA, Dot Blot, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, and Antibody Purification. Other applications not tested
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
