TNF, alpha is an E. coli-derived recombinant protein corresponding to the C-terminal 157aa of human Tumor Necrosis Factor Alpha (TNFa), a cytokine which exerts cytotoxic effects on a wide range of tumor cells.
ED50: ≤ 0.05 ng/ml as determined by an assay measuring cytolysis of L929 cells in the presence of Actinomycin D.

Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
