Laminin is an endothelial adhesion glycoprotein composed of 3 chains designated A (MW: 400kD), B1 (MW: 210kD) and B2 (MW: 200kD) held together by disulfide bonds in the shape of a crucifix.
Molecular Weight:In electrophoresis a major band at 60kD and a minor band at 170-190kD are observed.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Functional Assays. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Note: It is recommended to thaw this solution slowly at 2-8ºC to avoid gel formation. Care must be taken when using at Room Temperature. It is advisable to use this product as soon as possible. If a gel forms then it is not possible to reactivate for use.
