Interleukin 11 is a potent lymphoid cell growth factor which stimulates the growth and survival of certain B cells and T cells.
Applications:Suitable for use in Functional Assays. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Functional Assay: 0.1-10ng/mlED50 of 0.5ng/ml as determined in a proliferation assay using murine T1165 hybridoma cells. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
