GSTO1, also known as p28 or GSTTLp28, is a protein that localizes to the cytoplasm and contains both an N-terminal and a C-terminal GST domain. In mouse, the encoded protein acts as a small stress response protein, likely involved in cellular redox homeostasis. This protein has dehydroascorbate reductase activity and may function in the glutathione-ascorbate cycle as part of antioxidant metabolism.
Recombinant human GSTO1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
Applications:Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Enzyme Activity:Not determined. This product is recommended for use in applications that do not require a catalytically active form of the protein.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
