Rac2 is a small signaling G protein (more specifically a GTPase), and is a member of the Rac subfamily of the family Rho family of GTPases. Rac proteins play important roles in multiple cellular events, including actin cytoskeletal organization, cell proliferation and survival, cell cycle progression, and gene transcription regulation. Recombinant human RAC2 , expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
Source:Recombinant human RAC2, aa1-189, His-tagged, expressed in E. coli
Enzyme Activity:Not determined. This product is recommended for use in applications that do not require a catalytically active form of the protein.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
