G8951-07Bis a tissue culture supernatant containing active bovine GMCSF, a cytokine that stimulates the growth and differentiation of hematopoietic precursor cells from various lineages, including granulocytes, macrophages, eosinophils and erythrocytes.
This preparation has been shown to have biological activity in proliferation assays utilizing TF1 cells. The specific concentration of GMCSF has not been assayed.
Applications:Suitable for use in Functional Assays. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Functional Assays: 1:2-1:10Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
