VAMP5, also known as vesicle-associated membrane protein 5, is a member of the synaptobrevin family and the SNARE superfamily. VAMP5 is the main components of a protein complex involved in the docking and/or fusion of vesicles and cell membranes. This protein may participate in a trafficking events that is associated with myogenesis, such as myoblast fusion and/or GLUT4 trafficking.

Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
