特徴

• GADD45B is a member of GADD45 family (GADD45 alpha, beta, and gamma) that are nuclear proteins to interact with various proteins implicated in stress responses and cell-cycle-related proteins. The function of GADD45 proteins is involved in growth-regulatory mechanisms and apoptosis. GADD45B is necessary for adult neurogenesis, including brain-derived neurotrophic factor and fibroblast growth factor. And therefore, this protein is implicated in affecting synaptic plasticity.
• Recombinant GADD45B protein was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
