Recombinant HIV-1 p24 from HxB2 strain (entire p24 protein-total 231aa). Contains a 6 histidine fusion partner.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Western Blot: Detects an immunospecific band at ~23kD. Minor bands are detected at 46, 20, 18 and 6.5kD
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and freeze at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt.
