Full length creatine kinase BB isoenzyme with aa sequence identical to the native enzyme. CK-BB is a 47kD dimeric protein comprised of 2 identical B subunits. Purified in the enzymatically active form. Reacts with polyclonal antibodies to BB isoenzyme in ELISA.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Unit Definition:One unit will transfer one micromole of phosphate from creatine phosphate to ADP/minute at 37°C. Measured at 340nm as one equimolar amount of NADH produced by coupled reaction.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and freeze at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
