• Specific Activity: ~290pmol/min/ug
• Assay Conditions:25mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 137mM sodium chloride, 2.7mM KCl, 1mM MgCl2, 0.05% Tween 20 and 20uM HDAC class 2a substrate. Incubation condition: 30 minutes at 37ºC, followed by incubating with developer at RT for 20 minutes. Fluorescence intensity is measured at exc360/em460.

• Applications:Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors and selectivity profiling. Other applications not tested.
• Storage and Stability:Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
