Assay for Activity:Activity is assayed using Cat. # 137347 (PDE7A Assay Kit, BioAssay™)
Assay Conditions: 10 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.4, 10 mM MgCl2, 0.1 mg/ml BSA, 0.05% Tween-20, 200uM cAMP, 2.5kU 5'-nucleotidase, and serial dilutions of PDE7A at 37°C for 20 min. Quantified by 5'- nucleotidase cleaving the 5' -AMP product and releasing the phosphate group which is detected by Malachite Green Reagent.
Storage and Stability:Store at -80°C. Product is stable for 6 months -80°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
