Human CD137 (4-1BB) is expressed on activated T cells within 24-48 hours of activation (3). CD137 is a type I membrane protein and a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily (1,2). CD137 appears to be important for T cell proliferation and survival (4).
Functional Application: CD137 Ig fusion protein blocks binding of anti-human CD137 to activated CEM human tumor cells and also binds to CD137 Ligand on Raji cells.
Human CD137(4-1BB) huIg Fusion Protein*
Molecular Structure: A soluble 55 kd fusion protein consisting of the extracellular (186aa) domain of human CD137 (4-1BB) fused to human IgG1 Fc (4).
Transfectant Cell Line: CHO
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Flow cytometry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended DilutionOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer
