Human CD137 (4-1BB) is expressed on activated T cells within 24-48 hours of activation. CD137 is a type I membrane protein and a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily. CD137 appears to be important for T cell proliferation and survival.
CD137 Ig fusion protein blocks binding of anti-human CD137 to activated CEM human tumor cells and also binds to CD137 Ligand on Raji cells.
Molecular Structure:A soluble 55kD fusion protein consisting of the extracellular (186aa) domain of human CD137 (4-1BB) fused to human IgG1 Fc.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:Flow Cytometry: 5-10ug/mlOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
