特徴

• Human Secretin stimulates the secretion of bicarbonate by the pancreas and inhibits the production of gastrin and acid production in the stomach. It also potentiates the release of digestive enzymes from the pancreas triggered by cholecystokinin. Secretin has a molecular formula of C130H220N44O40 a.a. sequence of -His-Ser-Asp-Gly-Thr-Phe-Thr-Ser-Glu-Leu-Ser-Arg-Leu-Arg- Glu-Gly-Ala-Arg-Leu-Gln-Arg-Leu-Leu-Gln-Gly-Leu-Val-NH2 and having a Mw of 3039.45.
• Fields of Applications:Diagnosis of pancreatic dysfunction. Diagnosis of the presence of a gastrinoma.
• Dimers and Aggregates:Less than 1% as determined by silver-stained SDS-PAGE gel analysis.
• Endotoxin:≤ 0.1ng/ug (IEU/ug) of Secretin.
• Protein Content:Protein quantitation was carried out by two independent methods:1. UV spectroscopy at 280 nm
• 2. Analysis by RP-HPLC, using a calibrated solution of Human Secretin as a Reference Standard.
• Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile buffer or ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
