特徴

• The PI3K D946A protein is a catalytically inactive mutant of PI3K with a D946A mutation in the ATP binding site. This recombinant catalytically inactive protein can be used as a negative control in any kind of PI3K kinase activity studies. Recombinant full length PI3K DA mutant (126.3kD without Tag) carries a N-terminal GST-Tag which facilitates the protein's application in typical GST pull-down assays.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
