• ProNGF is the pro-form of the neurotrophin nerve growth factor. Like the mature protein proNGF is characterized by the cysteine knot motif consisting of three cysteine bridges. The protein predominantly exists as a non-covalently linked homodimer. Recombinant Human Pro-NGF produced in E.coli is a non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 222 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 49,738 Dalton. Recombinant Pro-NGF is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
