Biological Activity:ED50 range = 0.1-1.0ng/ml (Specific Activity: 1.0x10e7-1.0x10e6 units/mg) determined by the dose dependent proliferation of BALB/3T3 cells. Optimal concentration for individual application should be determined by a dose response assay.
Sterility:Filtered prior to lyophilization through a 0.22 micron sterile filter.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with ddH2O. Further dilutions should be made in medium or buffered solution containing carrier protein such as PBS with 0.1% BSA. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
