Description:Canine Tumor Necrosis Factor alpha (TNF alpha) is produced by a range of cells, including macrophages and monocytes and is an important mediator of the canine inflammatory response.
Biological Activity:This product has an ED50 of 10pg/ml, determined by measuring the cytolytic effect of recombinant canine TNF alpha on murine WEHI-13VAR-164 cells in the presence of Actinomycin D.

Applications:Suitable for use in In vitro applications and ELISA. Other applications not tested.
Storage and Stability:Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C prior to reconstitution. Reconstitute with sterile buffer or ddH2O. After reconstitution store at -70°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -70°C. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
