Specific Activity:~800U/mg, where one unit of PKC iota activity is defined as 1nmol phosphate incorporated into 50uM PKCe Substrate Peptide (ERMRPRKRQGSVRRRV) per minute at 30°C with a final ATP concentration of 100uM.
Applications: Suitable for use in Kinase Assays

Recommended Dilutions: Kinase Assay: 1.6-4.4ng of this lot of enzyme phosphorylated 50uM PKCtide Substrate Peptide in the assay. Assay background was subtracted from the actual counts to yield the results

Storage and Stability:Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and freeze at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months
