Identity:Shows binding to HIV-2 p26 specific murine monoclonal antibody by ELISA and Western Blot. Does not show binding to HIV-1 p24 specific murine monoclonal antibodies of defined epitope specificity by ELISA and Western Blot.
Specificity:Binds to HIV-2 converted human serum polyclonal antibodies as determined by ELISA and Western Blot. Does not bind to HIV-1 converted human serum antibodies as determined by Dot Blot, ELISA assays.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:ELISA: 10-100ngWestern Blot: 100-500ngOptimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability:Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
