Truncated Recombinant HIV-1 YU2 M-Tropic envelope protein gp41 produced as a fusion protein in an E. coli Expression System. Truncated gp41 protein mol.wt: 25kD.
Specificity:H6003-03B binds to HIV-1 converted human serum polyclonal antibodies in ELISA and Western Blot.
Applications:Suitable for use in immunization and T-cell activation. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:A dose dependent response assay should be performed to determine the optimal concentration for use in specific applications. ELISA and Western ELISA require 10-100ng protein depending on the nature and affinity of the detection reagent. Human serum polyclonal antibodies yield titers of 1:1000 or greater at 100ng of immobilized protein under standard ELISA conditions.
Storage and Stability:Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
