Full length recombinant human T-Cell receptor sCD4 produced in the baculovirus expression system. The full length protein contains V1 through V3 domains of CD4.
Specificity:This protein binds to murine monoclonal antibodies of defined epitope specificity in ELISA and Western Blot.
Biological Activity:This protein binds to native and recombinant HIV-1 gp120 and HIV-2 gp105 and neutralizes HIV-1 infectivity in CD4-bearing, HIV-1 infected cell cultures and HIV infected PCMBs.
Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Neutralization, Drug Screening and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions:ELISA: 10-100ng protein depending on the nature and affinity of the secondary detector reagent(s). Western Blot: 10-100ng protein depending on the nature and affinity of the secondary detector reagent(s). Neutralization: 1-10ug/ml of the HIV-1 infected culture. Drug screening assays: 100-500ng of solid phase sCD4 and gp120 binding is determined in the presence of inhibitors either indirectly using H6003-34G1, HIV-1 gp120 (HRP) or directly using H6003-07B1 HIV-1 env gp120, Strain IIIB, Recombinant (HRP)Optimal dilution determined by the researcher
Storage and Stability:Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
