Storage and Stability:Store components at 4ºC. Stable for at 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.

Specificity:There is no crossreactivity with C-peptide at the concentration of 5000pmol/ml, with intact human proinsulin (biosynthetic) 0.3%. High concentrations of lipid or bilirubin do not interfere in the insulin assay. Purified hemoglobin up to 50ug/ml has been shown NOT to interfere the test. No interference for rheumatoid factor or human anti-mouse antibodies (HAMA) was observed.
