特徴

• Varicella-zoster virus (VZV) interacts with cell surface heparan sulfate proteoglycans during virus attachment. VZV-gE is a glycoprotein that plays an active or supportive role in VZV cell membrane fusion. VZV-gE was found to enhance the fusogenic potential of VZV gB.
• Recombinant Varicella Zoster Virus protein containing the VZV ORF9 immunodominant regions (aa6-28/76-100).
• Specificity:Immunoreactive with serum of VZV-infected individuals
• Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Excellent antigen for detection of VZV with minimal specificity problems. Other applications not tested.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
