特徴

• Inactive human holoenzyme consists of one dimeric regulatory subunit type II alpha and two monomeric catalytic subunits (cAMP-free).
• Dimers and Aggregates:≤ 1% as determined by silver-stained SDS-PAGE gel analysis.
• Biological Activity:Recombinant Holo enzyme can be activated by adding the second messenger cAMP (Activation constant about 100nM) releasing two monomeric catalytic subunits.
• Applications:The product is suitable for analysing PKA type II agonists (cAMP analogs) or antagonists.
• Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
