85-1433-33 [取扱停止]CD99, Recombinant, Human (MIC2, p30/32MIC2, Ewing’s Sarcoma Marker, E2 Antigen) 5ug C2444-14
特徴
- CD99 is an integral membrane protein of 185 amino acids that is expressed highly on cells of the hematopoietic system and on Ewing tumor cells. CD99 has been implicated in cell adhesion and cell death and to participate through these processes in the differentiation of T-cell precursors at a critical stage of thymocyte differentiation when positive selection is known to occur (Bernard et al). Engagement of the CD99 molecule by CD99 monoclonal antibodies has been shown to induce homotypic aggregation of various cell types. CD99 is expressed constitutively on all peripheral blood T-cells and becomes further up-regulated upon cell activation . CD99 mediates TCR/CD3-dependent activation of resting peripheral blood T-cells and specifically induces the production of the Th1 cytokines TNF-alpha and IFN-gamma.
- Recombinant CD99 shows a band at 56kD on SDS-PAGE commassie blue stained gel.
- Applications:Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Inhibition Assays. Other applications not tested.
- Recommended Dilution:Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
- Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
