An activating Killer Cell Ig-like Receptor (KIR, previously called p50 KIR, p50.3, cl39, or KAR-K1), which may recognize class I MHC molecules. The protein coding region of the extracellulardomain of KIR2DS4 (amino acids 1-202) was cloned into an E. coli expression vector. The extracellular domain of KIR2DS4 was overexpressed as insoluble protein aggregates (inclusion bodies).
Storage and Stability:May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
